Ever since I picked up a #72 in African Blackwood for my brother I've been wanting the same knofe.

Unfortunately I can't find any, especially the one I'd really like, the Yellow Rose. That said, I'm not a collector, I just need a good knife as my current Boker is getting too worn.

I can't find the yellow version, or any for that matter.

Any advice on getting GEC knives? Seems like no one has any #72s.

For sale forums. That's your answer. Or post this exact thread as a WTB.

Go to GEC website, proceed to the distributors page-check them out-i just looked and there are definitely 72s available -not yellow though.
There are some on a non BF dealer so can't mention that one.
Gunstockjack has some as well.
hope that helps.
Also might pay to check the for sale section on BF- you'll likely pay the flipper fee though.

I think you are referring to the 74 yellow rose as I don't think a yellow rose variant was present on this last run of 72's (last yellow rose 72 was produced in 2010). There are some 72's out there, we can't tell you where/how to buy do to forum rules but start with GEC's website dealer list.

No, it's definitely the 72 I'm after. Oh well, I knew it was unobtanium.

I'll have a look at the dealers section. So far all I;ve foudn is more blackwood and some green micarta, neither of which I'm interested in.

I was looking out for same knife for a long time . 73 and the 83 was as close as I got . Still worth pursuing, I recently picked up a 66 jack river valley green that a few guys were pining over couple years ago .
