I just got a Spyderco Southard. I like it, but at the same time, I don't like it. The titanium is anodized, and I have mixed feelings about it. And with an S90V Sprint Run of a knife I really want but can't afford, I want to sell it. I like it though. So what should I do? Oh, this is also the only knife I have not made in the USA so I was a little unwilling to break that streak.

If you like the alternative more than the Southard, sell it. If you like the Southard more than the alternative, keep it.

If you think you would be happier with the other knife, sell the Southard. If you think the Southard will make you happier in the long run, keep it. It's that simple.

I got 5 on it!!

Do what makes you happy. I've been contemplating selling a few of mine recently. One that would be darn near impossible to ever find again. Decisions, decisions.

This soon after getting and having the slightest doubt...dump it, while it is still fairly "hot". There will be other versions coming soon that may be more sought. It is a standard production, easy enough to replace if you regret letting go.

I understand all too well needing the funds from one to acquire another, I dont have it like that either. The Sprint your looking at is just that...Limited. Would be harder and more expensive to find later.

Southard is regular production. Limited is just that.

You can always buy another Southard.

You can always sell the limited, and often prices will go up. I'd sell it, buy the new one. If you don't like the new one, sell the new one and buy another southard (:

Sell it to me for cheap :D! JK I have had the same feeling about knives before, but usually I started liking it more over time. I'd say keep it for a little while, and if you still don't like it, go ahead and sell it.

From what I can see, you just bought it today, four hours before posting this? How can you know whether you like it until you have it in your hands? And you have a thread trying to bypass getting a gold membership to sell a knife you don't even have yet? What is going on here?
