Should I send in this Emerson?

I have a commander that was stiff and had very slight vertical blade play otb and once it was broken in was repeatedly failing with either no detent or stiff blade or side to side bladeplay. Now it stopped failing but still has substantial bladeplay both ways. The lock failing fluctuates. Do you think I should send this in or do you have any remedies I could do? I would have to pay shipping and I am in Canada because by the time i received all the instructions from eki it was a day late of a month "-.-

I would send it in. That's disappointing for a new knife to have that many issues. I've owned a few Emersons and the fit and finish on them was flawless. I think they would fix it and send it back ot you in perfect working order.

Send it in. I sent my Roadhouse in because the lock slipped. It came back to me perfect.

Sounds like you don't have much of a choice. Send it in. Sorry to hear its going to cost you a good bit in shipping fee's.
I haven't bought an Emerson in several years. I had two with issues, and just sold them to a friend cheap.

I wouldnt mess with it myself, I would let them deal with it properly.
