Should I use this Camillus BK3?

Pulled the trigger on one, I think it might be in my mailbox today.
I used to have the KA-Bar version that I enjoyed beating the crap out of.
My concern isn't collectability, and I didn't pay more than I would have for a KA-Bar version.
My concern is that if I should ever have any issues, am I going to be S.O.L. as far as warranty service?
Should I just say screw it and beat it like it owes me money?
Or should I try and trade for a KA-Bar version maybe?

Just looking for some different perspectives.
Thanks.

Beat on it!
Or trade it...
I doubt you'll ever break it though.

For warranty, you're SOL.

If it's in excellent condition, I'd sell it or trade it. Then get a KaBar BK3 that comes with a warranty AND another BK of your liking. ;)

Put it away, pull it out and admire/compare it every now and then. wait for an increase in demand then decide. You can always use any of the blades available on the market now.

In the cases of my favorite knives, Beckers high among that list, I have evolved into getting duplicates - keepers and users. This is especially the case with discontinued (or rumored to be discontinued) models such as the BK4, 5, and 15 and, such as in your case, where there may be some collector appreciation currently or prospectively and where there is no warranty.

I know i will catch flack for this, especially among the Beckerheads, there is some pleasure to be had in owning and appreciating knives as well as in using them.

I am with your school of thought Salty.
