I just bought this bottle of Knob Creek. It was signed by Fred Noe! :D Fred is the Grandson of Jim Beam who created some of the single batch bourbons produced by Jim Beam.

Should I open this one or save it as a collector's item?

I think I will open it and make a toast to cstorr's buddy who recently passed away.

drink the sob!!! if you save it you will die and your kids will drink it while they spend their inheritance     :D

Believe me Fred would want you to drink it. Don't toss the bottle though. :D Heck just save it for drinking on special occasions, a toast here or there if you like.

Knob Creek is not very expensive for a good bourbon. Why not save it and buy another bottle?

BTW, you may want to try Buffalo Trace if you like Knob Creek.

DRINK!

I had some very valuable wines at one point. Lets say they were worth $x00 a bottle. I drank them thinking that many times over $x00 would pass through my hands but never those bottles of wine.

(I don't want too use real numbers because Tex will tell me you can't buy screw top bottles of wine for that much any more.)

Whisky, Whiskey...must always be drunk.

This is a form of art that must be tasted to be properly appreciated.

You can always save the bottle so you can admire the signature.

I say...drink away! Your liver will sort it out.
