A week ago I ordered a Jag. because I wanted a bali that I could use and abuse.I've only manipulated it a few times and already,I could see all the horror stories (told by
fellow forum members) flash before me.The pins already look like they are going to break and the handles look like they are just going to fly off.I wanted something with weight to it.That way I could see my BM42 fly.I guess,I better just stick with my BM42 and get use to the lightness of it.

Although the quality is much closer to a Jaguar than a Benchmade, I have a Bear MGC #116 butterfly. It is far looser than my BM30 and BM42, but the pins are solidly in place. At least, the one I have is. It weighs more than the BM42, but it seems to be a good practice blade.

jpared, replace your pins with #6 finishing nails. I got that advice from someone here or it may have been Clay's site at: balisongxtreme.com. Anyway, after several weeks of abuse the nails and the Jag have held up real well.

Yeah...I'm sure after a few more manipulations,I'll head out to get some finishing nails.
