Should there be a "great deals" section on the forum?

Should there be a specific place on this forum to post great deals we encounter? Case in point: Kershaw Skyline is going for about $21.00 on Amazon right now (lowest price I've ever seen it anywhere) and I would like to share this information with people. Kershaw/ZT Mfgrs forum has disappeared and not sure where this post would fit. So what do people think?
 
No, go read the rules you agreed to when you joined. It leads to spamming, thats why its there.

No deal spotting

As such, we don't allow deal spotting because otherwise the forums would be a quagmire of "deals" (real or imagined) posted everywhere, or unscrupulous people posting "deals" for non paying dealers. So don't do it.
 
You did okay. You meant well; you made a minor mistake, which was corrected. Not to worry.
 
Agree with Sonnydaze,

Also you can lock the thread yourself, as the "admin" for the thread you have that option.

We give precedence to the folks that help this place stay open. Small businesses are out there and they thrive because people shop there.
 
If people would read the rules and faqs... that'd be great.
