Should this thread be moved? Where would it be appropriate?

It's sort of hard to get serious answers and/or replies to things in Whine & Cheese. Did you not read the heading of the forum?

That should have said it all. Ufortunately, that thread is destined to stay where it is, things don't get moved out of Whine & Cheese. Hard to say where a good place would be, maybe Community? The first reply you received, was a good suggestion.
 
This is a forum, a post disappears if there are no comments, no one will see it if there's no discussion.

You could always delete the body of your original post and/or ask for it to be locked.
 
That didn't work too well did it? The best way to salvage a situation in Whine & Cheese is to walk away. Stop posting. Forget it. Post it somewhere else.

If you aren't there to argue with the crew in Whine & Cheese, they will forget you and argue with each other about some other topic.


Deleting your own posts just makes it look like you can't defend your point of view. It removes any chance of someone coming in to the discussion later and seeing anything sensible from you at all.
