I just got this spyderco persian in a trade and i love it. I looked real close and notices the blade was way off center when closed. Doesnt seem to be a problem everything else is smooth. is this bad and why? Can it be fixed?

I know my Emerson Commander was off center and it really bugged me. Then I just
tightned down the pivot screw and it centered it perfectly, I couldn't believe it
actually. Not sure if yours would do the same or not but worth a try?

yeah its got no screws exposed its a Persian i think the previous owner opened it to hard to many time, i dont know. Would spyderco fix it?

They might fix it for free or they might charge you a $20 fee. Keep in mind that there is a lengthy wait also (approximately 4 weeks).

If it really bothers you, give Spyderco's Warranty and Repair a call.

I assume the knife works and blade doesn't rub the liner when opening, then it's a problem only in your mind :) and don't fix something that's not broke. Spyderco has tolerances for blade centering, and you may be within them, thus maybe no free fix.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the blade is not touching the liner. I'm not sure if Spyderco can fix it, since it's pinned. I'd call W&R, which has already been suggested.

It is pinned construction, Seki made and discontinued. The best you can hope for is they might offer you store credit for the MSRP toward purchase of something else, assuming it is not due to abuse. The labor to repair it would cost them more than the value of the knife (pulling one of their skilled makers off prototype duty to rebuild a pinned knife ain't cheap) even if it is due to a manufacturing defect, which I kind of doubt.

I carry and use knives that are a lot worse off every day.

It can't be fixed. Unless the blade also has a lot of side to side play I doubt it's from hard opening, sometimes knives come that way. On the other hand, unless it's rubbing the liners, it's not really a reason to worry. That said, it is IMHO the kind of thing that should be mentioned up front on a trade as it will bother some people. You can either live with it, or undo the trade if the previous owner neglected to mention it.
