Shoulder rig advice?

I want to take my Cold Steel Master Hunter out for some inconspicuous hiking and I'm looking at two types of shoulder rigs:

1)rig where knife hangs under the armpit and harness is secured to belt
2)rig that is not attached to belt (just loops over arms) where knife lies against back.

Any preferences? Pro's and cons to either?

Thanks!

I like the rig under the arm-pit...but thats me...Try Survival Sheath Systems...he does excellent work...;)

Go for it!
I like how a shoulder rig carries, based on a tiny bit of experiance.
Whenever I figure out my ultimate carry fixed blade, its going in a shoulder rig.

And Survival Sheath Systems is the place to get them... for sure!

While I personally don't favor shoulder rigs, Rob Hummelbaugh (Survival Sheath Systems), makes excellent sheaths and his shoulder rigs are the best "bang for the buck" out there.

A vote for the JSP (Bladerigger) Associate shoulder rig. It works very well with my Retribution.

I haven´t tried SSS.
