I'm thinking about buying a shoulder rig for a knife(CRKT M16) Would it be illegal in Texas to carry a concealed knife? Neck knife? About the knife, it has something called a Carson Flipper which aids in the opening of the knife, would that make it illegal? Kershaw Blackout has speedsafe, any difference? How old do you have to be to carry a knife(preferably the ones mentioned in this thread)? Thanks in advance.

Concealed or not makes no difference in Texas for knives. The only time concealment is an issue in Texas concerns people with handgun licenses, who must keep their handguns concealed. So, neck knives, shoulder harnesses, and such are legal. Fixed or folder are both legal. Flippers and assisted opening SEEM to be legal, since a manual movement is required to start the process. I have never heard of a prosecution in the Houston area for flippers or assisted openers. There is no age limit. Just be careful of carrying any knife on a school campus if you are a student. You will fun afoul of rules, which can get you expelled from school, even though the knife itself may be legal.
