I refurbished 3 HB axes lately and sent photos to the company to see if they could date them. They asked me to send more photos for their website, so I did and they are sending me a new HB premium axe as a thank you. Thanks to the nice folks at Hults Bruk!

Nice touch! But did they give you some feedback about vintage while they were at it.

The three I sent them are a 1.1 KG on a 28" octagonal HH haft, a 1.7 KG on a 32" haft, a second 1.1 on a regular 28" haft. The fourth photo is the nice little hatchet they are sending me.

I finally got a few minutes to take pictures of the Hults Bruk Almike hatchet that they were kind enough to send me. It has a beautiful sheath with a really smart design. There were a few rough edges, but an hour with the puck and stones, and some sandpaper produced a really nice hatchet. Hats off to Hults Bruk for the nice gift (valued at $149!). It will fit in my backpack very nicely!
