Given Amy-0's post about a certain upcoming-deadline , I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one more CG FBM.

I like what someone wrote about getting the Urban Gray finish (matches raw INFI pretty well) and letting the finish ride until it wears off. Still contemplating what scale color to get with it. Thinking black G-10 maybe.

Anyone got some Urban Gray pics? Preferrably new pics and after-some-use pics?
 
My AK has Black coating under the gray. So it turns black where it wears.

Thanks RF. Wonder if that's true of all the Urban Gray?

My SJTAC is urban grey, and a small part of the finish has worn off the tip. It's black underneath, for sure. I've used it for light-medium yard work.

hmmm... sounds like they all have the black undercoat.
 
Is there black underneath every coating finish or just only black under the gray coating?

It looks like I'm going to be able to post a photo of an urban gray and black mag G-10 when I return from Yosemite early next week.:D
 
another hmmm...

book'em's knife looks kind of gray under the gray. May have to call the shop on this one.

I like the urban grey from all the pics that I have seen. Since I ordered my FBM in Urban Grey a couple of ours after they came out, I am hoping to see it in real life soon..:)
