I just picked up a nice little SH-E User from Coldone and am in the process of stripping and polishing her into shape. Since this takes a LOT of hand finishing I have gotten to spend a fair bit of time with the ergo handle and I must say I really like it. The ERGO handle is great looking ,much less "busy" than the fusion or ASH and no Busse pinky. The balance with a knife the size of the Steel Heart
is really nice although the ergo handle is a bit on the heavy side especially when compared to RES-C.

Another great advantage of the ERGO's is they are a real bargain.
I doubt people will sleep on them forever.

I am also really impressed with my first asymmetrical edge. Once I took a couple thousandths of an inch off the flat side it got very sharp and a mousepad/sandpaper touch up to the convex side when I am done the finish should make her really hair popping.

When i am done this one my next Busse will definitly be a matching ergo Battlemistress for a set.

So are there any other ERGO fans out there and if so lets see those bad boys.

like this?

Tony that is an incredible ZT but then you had to put a admittedly even nicer straight handle. I love the points on the ZT's ,they are one of the only things that would tempt me away from a full flat grind. You are a pretty darn good photographer as well.

These 2 started my Ergo collection, Nothing finer than a Satin, zero edge SH-E

Picked up a few others along the way.

Thanks but not really. Lunde talked me into a camera I couldn't miss with. And then here you only see the lucky shots.

For example I got the camera in late June and I'm already on image #1400 but I may have only 20 keepers.:o

.

Holy baloney Jimmy that satin SH-E from the first pic is like seeing my knife's twin.
I got that same weird sensation I do when the guy with my exact truck drives by(Black 97 GMC samewheels bedguards even mudflaps). I actually looked over to make sure it was still here(my knife not my truck).

That battlemistress user is very sexy as well. There is something special about a Busse that has been used well for a long time and is well worn but not worn out. Like an old leather jacket.

I stand by my judgement of Tony as a good photographer. First off I am a bad photographer. I have taken way more than 1400 photos with a decent camera and have no good photos.
Second ,if you were making a film it would not matter how bad you cut out was only how good the stuff you left in.

Tony has the same philosophy, I think, when it comes to women and knives. :p

I gots to get me a shorter Ergo one of these days. Can't decide between the Badger and the Natural Outlaw.

Thanks, that user BM-E is actually a CG Aftershock Bolo

and yes, it's well loved.

Does anyone have a pic of the AD-e? Its listed on the bussecollector site but there is no picture. I'm going to assume the E stands for ergo, I may be wrong but bare with me,I'm just a little piglet that hasn't been in the game too long. I've never seen one of these!

Since you already have the Steel Heart, I recommend the Badger. They complement each other well.

(I know: Customs don't count as examples. But they are Ergos.)

As far as I am concerned, all those MoFos and MoJos you have count towards the total. Unless they all got liquidated for that SHBM....

Bastard. I little part of me dies each time I see this picture.
