There's quite a few claims of impressive patinas in the "funky patina" thread.

Let's see the blades!

Bring on the pix!

(I'm gonna patina my German Eye when I get it. Give me something to shoot for.:D )

Bulldog Stag Copperhead

Not really "traditionals", but the top two Moras in this pic' both got a 30 minute hot vinegar soak!

Some "Sportsman" type knives.

The Boker on the left is just from carry and use that included a bit of fruit. That one actually isn't that old or heavily used. It just aged quickly looks wise. The stag is carbon, but hasn't seen a lot of pocket time. The first two are German Bokers. The last one is actually stainless and part of the Magnum line. The blade color on that is just from reflections.

These are from carry, use and abuse. The little Remington has gone through a wash and dry in the laundry more than once (okay, several times) over the years.

That's all for now:)

Nice Hawk collection MM! I like the banana knife, and the "yellow" two near the bottom! Is that Osage?

Thanks guys, I've added more since that pic
bottom to top:

a robeson shur edge with custom staghorn sumac scales,

kutmaster with custom osage

cocobolo handled (factory) kutmaster with a modified blade. Someday when I find the time this knife is going to get some desert ironwood scales, filework and a mirror polished blade. It ought to knock your eyes out when I get to it.

The bannana knife is a Tina Co. from germany, very hefty spring and liners.

then you have an ebony handled walden knife co.

next up is an old queen city

then there is the plastic handled klien that has had a total makeover and found a new home

a schrade linemans knife that got a total makeover and a new home (I think that is now yours Charlie?)

then a schrade walden 136

I now have a couple more schrades a couple dunlaps too.
