Have only got the one I'm afraid, but happy to show this one for sure.

I'm aware Bill is a highly competent maker and would love to see some more :)

Bill does some fantastic work Paul. I've handled a few of his pieces at smaller shows and they're extremely nice.

Here's one he completed at one of his classes.
Mr Ruple and Mr Preston in the pic. Although I don't recall the fella's name that won the knife in the class he was a great guy.

- thanks, Charles........that's one sublime Lannys Clip

- cheers, Randy, that's one amazing folder, very substantial looking handle too, I like that

- well, @Blues - that's some wonderful bevy of beauties you got there, thanks for showing!

They all seem good size, chunky folders - a proper handful.

Does Bill do his own jigging, it is really something..?

You're very welcome. Regarding the jigging, I don't believe he does. I think he uses Culpepper or other sources for his covers and just works them to fit the particular piece.

A nice grouple!
;)

Bill did the Oregon Club knife in 2009. Nice Trappers, but cured him of doing a bunch of club knives all at once!:D
A double Wharncliffe swayback for the dedicated user of that pattern! Then my favorite Ruple - a greenbone medium stockman; something about that knife . . . . . .:)
Finally, with a close-up below, a unique Ruple. A beauty of a Trapper, with standing-rope filework!!
The blade and spring sit up above the frame in a three-dimensional rope pattern. The fellow I got it from said that's another Ruple "never again" pattern. I think it is gorgeous! It feels good under the hand also!!

- you bet!

Thank you for sharing, sir.......great collection

It's amazing to see the detail and precision that Bill produces. An interesting thing in his class....another student asks what's the measurement of that "iuhgoiruh" (I forget!). Bill replies we're not making a rocket or words thereabout. I think as long as that particular knife is proper, symmetrical and proportionate everything is great. They're custom made knives and I don't imagine a finished knife's parts are interchangeable with another finished knife's parts even if the patterns starts as the same. Pretty cool!!

Rusty's a great guy as well. I introduced him to the forum and he's posted a few times but it's not really his milieu. Very interesting guy and the couple of stock knives I have from him are quite well done. I've always enjoyed visiting with him and talking knives, motorcycles and life in general.

Agreed, Rusty is a very cool guy. His knives are super as well.
