Some of my favorite knives, aesthetically, are curvy babies. Anything from Spyderco's Reverse S line (got the Cricket, 3x Dodo, 2x Matriarch, Lil Matriarch, Civilian) and the CRKT Ritual to more "traditional" designs like some of Joker's Navaja inspired blades... And some other nicer Spanish, French and Italian Makers.

The Cold Steel Espada series, especially the fancy bolsters, really do it for me. Getting a 3-4" companion for them, but really wish I had an aluminum Medium. (The tiny one).

The Buck 110 nearly does it too, and the 119, with that wicked tip the curve turns into and the gorgeous bolsters. I have like three or four Bucks I want right now. There was some rosewood backlock 3something a user recently posted that I loved. But that is beside the point.

Do you see the theme here? The styling of the Douk Douk is wonderful for me, while the cutting side is mostly straight. I like curves and old world flare. This is a pic thread as well as a thread I hope I can find some recommendations - made a bolster thread a bit back but I think this is more in depth. Someone really helped with a Lionsteel rec.

What are some of your favorite knives with curves, and preferably bolsters too? You can post anything, but even if it is a modern brand, it would be cool if it has hints of old world flare (Buck's Americana, the Navaja style, whatever).

It is even better if you have found the knife to be useful and if so, please name what it is best for, or if generally good for EDC. I have a few knives that are not very functional for EDC but had for beauty reasons, but I prefer function, too.

The CRKT Ritual is never going to be my most useful or used knife, but it's kind of fun to have.

The Cold Steel Tiger Claw is a lot more useful and used, but I do wish the handle was a bit rounder for use. It certainly carries better with the flat handle though, so I can see why they did what they did.

Not a huge fan of curvy blades but they are very attractive I think... Because of the curves... 🤣
Disregard the Dragon please.
T The Grendels ---> Totally the same position about the CRKT... Very attractive piece, wouldn't find any purpose for it but I love it !
Almost pulled the trigger when they released it... 😍

Hawkbills are quite useful for things like cardboard, blister packs, and baling twine. I used a Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark (no photo handy) for baling twine for about 9 months until I got tired of having to take it apart every couple months to do a CLA. The Black Talon is a really nice blade, but the knife is a little too big for my pockets.
