Good evening!

As a follow up to my scale question for the Buck custom knives, please show me some pictures of your custom shop knives! I am trying to get more ideas and combinations that would look good together:)

There are gents who have some handsome custom 112's here. I'll contribute this one since it's one you mentioned. Ram's horn. DM

I'm Guessing by your question you want to see the knives that have been made to order from the Custom shop and not the LE & SO type knives.

First run 112 CS knives

110 CS knives

Yes, John I thought of that as well. But he mentioned ram's horn and that's the one I had. I didn't move when Buck allowed the custom shop 112's. So, LE is what I have. DM

Thanks for sharing! I am leanng towards ram horn but those woods look nice too......

Good call Dave,

Your knife is exceptional and with these Rams Horn handles you can see the variation in this natural material. In addition, Dave's 112 has a brass frame, the one I posted has a NK frame. I like the color match of Rams Horn with the brass frame much better.

Some beautiful knives here. I'll work on new pics of some 112's later and post 'em.

Nice pics of good looking Bucks.

Thanks for all of the ideas! I went for the nickel silver with s30 blade and walnut handles after much deliberation:)

This thread needs a sticky ... and more pics ... and... and... and...

Thanks for sharing the beauties you all own. I also have such a great custom Buck 110/112 on my short list for 2015. They look so awesome. I´m sure the rams horn just feel plain awesome in hand as well as the walnut.

I´m just curious about the Royal Indigo wood - what is that? Is it real, dyed wood or some kind of laminated wood; stabilized or what?

I think we discussed that and if I correctly recall it is a dye impregnated laminate wood. DM

This is the recent thread where it was discussed: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1246448-Dymondwood-Not-loving-it

There has been murmurs that the Dymondwood might be going away. I've earmarked some of February's funds for a custom and not knowing when or if I'll get another custom, I think I'll spring for the Waterbuffalo horn. What say ya?

Here's another Ram's Horn:

It's the same stuff they use on the regular production models just dye blue. I love mine, I think it's purty :)

I just got home from work and had this waiting for me. My girlfriend ordered it for me for Christmas and it got here just in time to be an early Valentine's day present also. :)
