This is my post #500 and i think it has been a while since the last "Show me your favorite Busses" thread.

So as title says; Show me your favorite TOP 3 Busses and kin- and maybe a few words, too.

Here is my list:

-Busse Magnum EU-17, #11 out of 28. This knife to me, has the right kind of match between big knife, fighter and light chopper, which i love so much.
-Busse Basic-11 with assym. edge, tanker grey blade. As far as i know, this is a Blade Show release only, low numbers. I simply love Basics and the B-11 to me, is the best of them all; It has the right kind of mix between weight, balance and lots of power.
-Busse Active Duty, .170. This is a Blade Show 2013 release, Busse colours on handle. AD`s fit so nice in the hand. Easy to carry and has a usefull shape on blade, makes this the perfect EDC kind of knife- or as a back-up to them bigger Busses.

Not sure about which of the combos i like best but out of all my knives these 3 combos gets used the most. The SFNOLE is always my go to knife and in my mind, maybe the best knife ever. I haven't had the LE CABS for very long but it's a really good EDC/Bushcraft, perfect for slicing, cleaning out fish etc etc.
 
Lennox; Nice knives and pics.- You pretty much cover it all with that combo- MOAB`s are awesome knives, Zillas too, (dont have any myself), so are CABS`s and SFNO`s. Both my SFNO`s has been sent to Gart for modifying- do miss them.

Have a user Basic-11 and the midsize which i do carry right now is the 711. The Pork Shank, another AD, the AMS and my Cultie, is in rotation to cover the small ones; EDC sort of way. Cant bring myself to use the EU-17 (on the look for a user, but its like serching for unicorns i guess). :D

I love my NMFBM and my BWM. I use my 911 the most.

Yeah gotta love those SFNO's, i wish Jerry would release some more knives with the SF handle, what are you having done to your SFNO's?
 
Bobby. Is there a noticeable weight difference between those MOABs? That bottom one with the "belly" is tops!!!
 
Lennox, the bottom MOAB is the one with the rounded spine.

Gravelface, I don't remember there being a significant weight difference between the 2. Maybe you could ask drbarnes if he noticed one?
 
Here are my top 3 kin... Im Infi-less.. But im still in the family :)

Chopweiler, Drop point R6 with top guard removed, Drop point RMD.

 
tdk1122: Nice choppers- i really have a crush for BWM`s. Like me, with your users- i mostly end up with a Basic handle, on bigger knives.

bobbystoney: Awesome mix- what handles on your knives; looks like you have tigerhide or snakeskin on some of them?

Lennox: My SFNO`s; One is a snakeskin with black coating (knife has been used), i`m gettin`a satin finish on blade. Other one is a custom shop from before (.270 i think). That one is gettin`a handshaped tigerhide handle and a "round butt treatment).

Will: You have the Basic-8 as your fav. knife- Why am i not surpriced, i envy you that one ;):D

meluck: The Kill Devil Sniper Hawk, is such a nice piece of SR-101- Love mine too.

Jroden5446: You dont see YardHooks that often- i love the curve on the blade. Are you using that Zilla ? -and what kind of handle is that?

Worldwood: Rats to the bone, man- Awesome:thumbup: The RMD is one of may favs. too- Both my user RMD`s are send to custom shop heaven, for a "treatment". More on them, when they are back.

Okay- Inspired by others, i`m takin this thread to a new level and showing my fav. top tree users- But that aint easy....I mostly end up with a Basic handle on them bigger ones (love the BWM, too) and G-10 on the smaller EDC-size type of knives. SYKCO 1311 and 711. Basic-11 and 6LE, Bush Wacker Mistress, BATAC, Pork Shank, BAD and Cultie:

Yep, you don't see many hooks about, it's the first blade that when I learned about Scrapyard/ Busse that I lusted after, so it holds a special place to me.

The Zilla has Redwood burl handles that I did awhile back, and yes, she gets used quite frequently.
 
lozdesign7: Agree with you on that on; choosing among those aint easy- Top one is that a Sarge-7 ? Your Boss Jack, what do Busse call that style of blade; swedge or clip point- or something else? Awesome, man :thumbup:

Its a SAR8 Custom shop and as for the BJ….. I call it a Boss Jack Bowie or Clip point….
