Here's a few pics of an old style Satin Jack I purchased from steelnut a few month's back. I love this knife! I had a Satin Jack Tac for a short while, but I like the feel of this style much better. For those who know more than I do, is this considered an "e-handle" or "straight handle" jack? Anyhow, this knife came with 3 sheaths, of which I liked the kydex the best. However, I'm not a big fan of Tek-Lok's, so I rigged a leather belt loop for it. Here are some before and after pics of my handy work.

I think this thread is a good excuse for the rest of you to show off your Jacks!:D

I love those Staight handled SJ's, looks like the same handle as on the BAIII's...it's my favorite handle.

Awesome knife and I really like what you did with the kydex:thumbup:

El Toro, nice pics, nice knife. I've had two chances now to buy that knife, and I'm trying to remember why I passed. :grumpy:

rt014, that old school Desert Jack is very nice. It has that unusual micarta that no-one seems to know the proper name for.

Gotta get me a SJ.

Here's a(nother) Custom Shop Desert Satin Jack. ...I hear that there was only 6 of this combo, is this true??? So, lemme see...:

Lil Foo,

how many do you think were completed in this style, and with the serration?

I have no idea how many there are, but I've only saw pics of 6 or 7 of them right after they were offered.

I can't tell from your pics... is your top swedge shaprened?

I think the Satin Jack is one of Busses most graceful blades. It is certainly one of my favorites

Thanks for the compliments, you should definitely try to snag one next time one comes up on the exchange. To me, the handle scales on that Desert Jack look like they may be green linen.
