I would love to see your miniature knifes/axes/razors/etc. I unfortunately do not own any yet but plan on working on some soon.

Here is a little axe I made that has mammoth ivory handles and was ground with a 4" wheel.

Those are really nice. Better than what I do for sure.

Here's one I made some years back. It's damascus, nickel silver and reindeer horn.

I give these pieces away as gifts to certain clients and often their wives. Talk about tears! For the guys I mount a tie-tack attachment to the back and they wear it as a lapel pin. The ladies usually mount the mini in a little picture frame. I've been told that this little act of friendship made the miniature worth more than the "real" knives they bought from me over the years.:D

BTW, I actually forge these blades with a little girlie hammer, differentially heat-treat them, and through many attempts, actually got a visible hamon on one. It's never happened again. Great fun!

Cheers,

Nice work, Dan! And Terry, don't sell yourself short! That's a sweet lookin' piece too. Really nice proportions.

I haven't made the time to do hardly any shop work at all for ages, so I think everyone's already seen the pics I have...

Mike Mercer Moran ST-23 replicated to the threaded tang construction and nut on the pommel to the same number of stiches in the sheath as the original.
