Show of hands...Who would like to see a CRKT forum?

Seems like they are really getting into the custom collaboration business. They should be listening to us NOW, MORE THAN EVER. Especially since just about everyone here likes their stuff. This is the company that makes it possible for po' folk like me to have a KFF, a Kit Carson, or a Point Guard. I emailed them about this last year and they said they would consider it. Maybe we should show them there is interest.

If you agree SOUND OFF!!! I will forward this thread to CRKT if there is enough response.

As long as they put more effort than Cold Steel did.

Definitely YES ! I think in terms of entry-level, they have the most innovative, good-quality, and affordable stuff going (bar none - take note you entry level makers who are marketing 10+ year old designs). now they are rounding out their line with higher end stuff for the connisseurs.

As an example, there's a current discussion thread on automating the LAWKS device - BFC'ers are a great source of (FREE !) advice and focus group marketing research.

A big YES!!!
I like all thier products.

I think its a great idea, they are a dynamic company with a lot of support here and it could work well.

Me! I would like to see a forum for CRKT.

It would be great except for one problem: CRKT are unable to dedicate a rep to moderate a forum at this time.

They are aware of bladeforums and appreciate the support for their products. However, Carrie Trujillo at CRKT stated to me that they do not have the resources right now to be able to dedicate to a forum.

They told me they didn't have the resources a year ago. I am not sure what kind of resources it would take, maybe one or two hours a day? How much time do they spend answering email everyday? Take for instance Spyderco Forum, they don't direct every post at Sal Glesser. If there is an item that Sal needs to chime in on he does. Otherwise he allows the forumites to have a discussion about his knives. I think CRKT would be well served if they provided a similar outlet for us.
