Show off the guards!

Ok, so I need a little inspiration for an upcoming commission. I have been challenged to produce something that is going to be new to me in almost every way. It will be a frame handle in W2 with a hamon and stag scales. All new materials and techniques for me. I've pretty much got the entire knife planned out at this point but, I'm just not feeling the guard yet.

We see several threads showing off various types and parts of knives; I would like to see those exceptional guards. Does not need to be your photo or knife but please try to give credit to the maker.
