I know there’s a similar thread going about Becker mods, but I thought it would be fun if we had a dedicated thread to show the process of how our beloved Beckers came to be. I’ve never really serious modded a knife before receiving my BK7, and I’m proud of my efforts. These are the fruits of my labor:
As from Kabar
De-ramped
Stripped
Final product: stripped and de-ramped. Scales are dark walnut by TommytheWho. Sheath by Jose’s leather. My goal was to make a Becker customized exactly to liking for under $175. Mission accomplished! I’m a huge fan of no nonsense and traditional Bowies that you would find on a 19th century Cowboy, Trapper or Mountain Man. I feel that my BK7 fits that to a T. I love to see how everyone else’s personalized Beckers came to be!
