That mod is pretty amazing. Did you do the grinding and sharpening yourself? Also, did you open up the butt of that knife to turn it into a bottle opener?!
Yes, yes and yes, but I used the original lanyard hole to make practical as well as tactical.

I love looking at that BK7, GSOM! Just went back and re-read your whole post and am kicking myself for not getting any mycarta epoxied up while it was warmer out.
Here' the only BK7 I did anything out of the ordinary to. It's one I etched for my brother-in-law. The handles are not made by me, but they are a desert camo BDU micarta. I know someone here can give credit to the maker...I'm drawing a blank right now, but he did an awesome job.
