A few months ago I got the itch to dress up one of my favorite knives. The ZT-560. This knife has always pushed the right buttons for me (I own another 560 user and a 561 user as well) It is great looking, light, carries low, open up lightning fast and closes up like a bank vault. It is made from high quality materials and is just plain bad a**! The first thing I did was add a .40 cal to the lock bar stabilizer. Which I love the look of against the titanium lock side. Next I was on the hunt for a new scale. I settled on carbon fiber but I wanted something really unique that had good grip as well. I have always loved the anso style scales so I began my hunt for a custom anso style Carbon Fiber scale. I found an excellent craftsman off of this forum and he made me an awesome scale which was exactly what I was looking for. We decided to do a flat bolster area so you could see the CF pattern straight on and then the anso style changed the look of the grip portion of the scale which looks great as well. I unfortunately have to release her back into the wild but I wanted to share a few pics before she goes. Please share pics of your CF and dressed up Kershaws and ZTs as well! They are a great platform to personalize and get a truly custom look.

Wow! Beautiful collection NeverMore I love the one with the top right. The 777 is amazing as well!

Is that twill Carbon Fiber on the 560? It looks awesome! Hows the grip on that one?
 
Too bad you're unwilling to keep your favorite knife that was perfect for you and/or good way to advertise a knife and scale you have for sale.

I may add some CF knife collection pics later, so I'll reserve this spot :)

I was thinking the same thing..

But I'll Play...Some I still Own some and some are in another hands now..(And some are being made my Rival and will be here soon!)

That was not my intent jimw451. I have another zt-560 and 561 that i carry. This one wasn't getting any pocket time because I was scared to damage it. I dont believe in knives sitting around and not getting used. I wanted to share pics because I am proud of it. I wanted to see what other people have as well, and im glad i did because people are sharing some great pictures of some really cool knives. But thanks for chiming in with your assumptions.
 
Can't wait for my New CF from Rival! And you're scared to Damage CF? CF is really Strong, I wouldn't worry..

I said it was too bad, after the way you described the knife so passionately. No need to get defensive. I'll play along and I love pics too. Good subject matter as I love CF myself. Although I do believe in knives that can sit around with no use as I have quite a few because I too am scared to damage them. :thumbup:

Sorry if I got a little defensive there. Rough day! I don't know if its the money I have invested or how pretty it is but I can't bring myself to use it. I look at it every morning and choose my other 560 or my sebenza 25 every time. I hate to see it sit there so I'd rather buy something I'd actually carry.
