I have always been fascinated by damascus steel patterns. Unfortunately damascus blades are usually more pricier than ordinary ones. You see, Dag, I know you have quite a number of damascus... the Fallkniven is of course beautiful but I never get tired of admiring your kitchen knives.. they are pieces of art!

Yes they are Japanese made and ordered direct from Japan, Seki city if memory serves. They are VG10 core with hand hammered damascus laminate and American walnut handles, very thin and razor sharp! (at least they claim they are hand hammered)

Yes, the fixed blade is a Bill Buxton. The folder is a Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper.

Damascus & mammoth ivory. Filework out the yingyang. Maker unknown at present.

That is sweet. I saw a thread somewhere just a day or two ago with a knife marked with a makers mark "K", not sure if I can find it again or not.
