I have always been fascinated by damascus steel patterns. Unfortunately damascus blades are usually more pricier than ordinary ones. To all our fellow brothers on this forum, if you have any damascus knives that you would like to share with others, be they folders, fixed blades or kitchen knives, please let us see them! Thanks!

Here is my favorite! I absolutely can't get enough eye time with this knife. The details are amazing and the damascus is stunning.

Those are stunning knives guys :thumbup:

Not sure if I'll bother posting mine now, they pale in comparison.

Vege-Taco and Doug C, thanks for sharing with us your nice knives! Why not also tell us the names of the proud makers of these knives? (Don't laugh at my ignorance!)

Dag-nabit, come on, show us your knives for the benefit of all the damascus lovers. No knife is too ordinary. I have seen your Japanese damascus kitchen knives in another thread and I can only gasp. :p

Keep them coming, brothers!

You see, Dag, I know you have quite a number of damascus... the Fallkniven is of course beautiful but I never get tired of admiring your kitchen knives.. they are pieces of art!

T.K.C., your fixed blade is by Bill Buxton? I also have a hunter made by Bill, but not in damascus.. Can you tell me who is the maker of the folder? Thanks!

Dag, where did you get your Shiki knives? From Japan? Their patterns are amazing!

Yes they are Japanese made and ordered direct from Japan, Seki city if memory serves. They are VG10 core with hand hammered damascus laminate and American walnut handles, very thin and razor sharp! (at least they claim they are hand hammered)

T.K.C. - That is some sweet steel :thumbup:

Holy, nice collection David1967, they all appear similar so I assume the same maker. Which of course begs the question, who is the maker?

Yes, the fixed blade is a Bill Buxton. The folder is a Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper.

The mail lady just dropped this one off about two hours ago. :)

Doug

That is sweet. I saw a thread somewhere just a day or two ago with a knife marked with a makers mark "K", not sure if I can find it again or not.
