I'll post one later. It's not mine, but the FIL's hunting knife, and I have it right now for sharpening. It just got a new convex edge! :D

I had no idea until just recently that these were such collectable knives. What do you suppose it might be worth (I'm sure he's not looking to sell, I'm just curious)?

Also, that thing is NOT little. It is about a 9" blade, ~14 inches OAL.
 
They are collectable if they are in super nice condition...that knife in excellent condition might go $750.00 to $900.00, in the shape it is in maybe $500.00 to $600.00. I consider that style a small bowie because the blade is narrow top to bottom, just an aside, is the blade 3/8th's or 1/4 inch stock? Andy
 
That one is 1/4" stock. My FIL has quite a story of the round about way he came into this knife back when he lived in MN in the late 60's.
