I'll start this one off with my Spirit of 76 commemorative. I think I remember that this was Bucks first limited edition or their first etched blade or maybe both. Anyway, here it is. Note that the blades came unsharpened from the factory.

Thanks for editing the last post. I'd not want this thread moved to the political forum.

Oh la la! Post seven, bottom folder: Is there a story with that one? Custom I figure. Buck factory or other, perhaps? Beautiful.

:o I honestly don't remember. There was a good thread about these in the past but I don't know if we ever came up with a real anwer. There were others with different emblems on the scale. I have the flag and the US Air Force one. They came in in nice little hard case. They seem to be based on the 501 blade.

Posted by chemist on 4-29-02.

my insurance company also offers merchandise to its policy holders. The current catalog has a Buck knife in it. The company is USAA and the knife advertised is a model 521 with "fire arm" blued handles, engraving and your choice of the American flag or military branch insignia inlaid in the handle (except no army).

Heres an old photo.....I need to redo it and add the Bald Eagle Scale........300

Oops, Forgot about this one....notice how this box was printed before the enactment of the 'under God" verse.

Inspirational thread California Dave. Selfishly, it couldn't have come @ a better time for me. Thank you kindly.

Wonder knives & terrific photos, from those who included cutlery in their posts.

I need a 521 for my collection now. Yes I do.
