I just recently got a #71 Bull Nose in OD Green Linen Micarta, and after a couple days carrying it, I've noticed the first little white scratch on the handle. I'm not bothered by it, as I'm looking forward to carrying and using this knife a lot and getting that good "worn in" look. I also carry most of my knives in my front right pocket with my keys and sometimes change, so I know it's going to happen. It is, after all, a "pocket" knife. :)

I'm curious, though, what the Micarta on these knives will look like after being carried and used for a while. So post some pictures of your carried and used Micarta knives (doesn't just have to be Bull Nose or Bull Buster, all are welcome) and let's see those pocket-worn beauties!

Heres mine, though it is canvas and not linen. Ill be going on the same journey with the OD linen. I've been carrying this one for around a year or so. I have found with this one it needs cleaning every so often. I use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get all of the gunk out of the grooves. I've never carried a linen micarta knife long enough to see if it wears similarly. I assume it would take in less gunk being a finer weave. Its pretty gross, but its a small price to pay for the great looks, comfort, and resilience of micarta.

I have an 83 in OD linen micarta and it went from being a very uniform green color to really showing the "zipper lines" after a couple of months of pocket time.
This is the oldest pic I can find, it's not a great shot but you can see the darker green.

And this is a more recent picture that shows the wear so far. I quite like it.

That has aged wonderfully! Nice! I have been carrying some linen micarta, This one for a couple of months (I've been shooting .22s a bit lately)

Here is a canvas micarta that was once Rockgolfer's then Sonneman's (I think) and now it resides in the watch pocket of my canvas carhartt pants when I'm working outside. I can't attest to whether it was natural canvas or red canvas, but it is a redish-brown now. Love it!!

This has been in my pocket for almost 2 years, lot of use and no cleaning:

And when new:

My Alsdorf slilmline trapper looked solid black when I got it but here's what it looks like now after wiping down the handles.
