I was just thinking of carving pumpkins today. Here in Brasil we have green pumpkins which are smaller than the orange varieties but have an extremly hard skin (shell-like). It's almost like wood. Today I made pumpkin puree with salmon and I had no doubts. I took out my Green camouflaged G-10 handled CGFBM and chopped up the poor old pumpkin in no time. Then I had a go at a huge frozen salmon and I had to baton the Battle Mistress to get through it. I'll tell you, it sure feels good to beat a mistress.
