Everyone who has some patina show it off. Will post some shots of mine later but wanna see some others!

This is the prettiest superblue patina pic I have, from a few years ago. As the patina matures you lose the yellow and blue and purple colors, and it just turns into a dull gray.

Here is mine, the coolest part to me is the patina line down the spine of the blade. Just noticed it today and it was the inspiration of this thread

I've posted this or ones similar sometime ago, but still find this patina rather unique and attractive.

Almost like a hamon.
Does the Super Blue blade have a coating or surface treatment? I'm wondering what causes the patina to stop at that sharp line.

Here's an oldie, snapped after my Caly 3.5 got it's first big stain. Tweaked the colors a bit to make it pop.

I know Becker and Opinel people are all about forced patinas. Do any of you Spyderco folks go in for the leave-it-stuck-in-a-potato/smear-mustard-on-it stuff?

Looks like m4 takes a dark tint almost like a worn out coated blade? Was trying to decide how stained m4 would look with carbon fiber.

I know I like mine legit. Have I cut some acidic fruits and such yes. But the blade is always wiped after. I think most of mine has come from being my daily carry into attics at work. No rust yet though
