Nice,

This is what Sebenza's are all about.
Make them live up to their name.

I've carried and used Sebs for the last several years - I have a Classic BG42 that was customized by Mad Dog Knives with an ST-2 coating (looks like black ceramic) and I have carried is and used to the point where the black coating is wearing at the corners - the knife got a very thorough dehorn and is the most comfy folder I have ever used period. It currently needs to get disassembled and cleaned off as I carried it with my snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean for a week.

The one in my pocket is a daily driver as well with lots of dings, scritches and nicks. It too is BG42, a standard model and the edge has some sort of gunk along it above the bevel where I used it to open a few boxes recently - the boxes had some really sticky tape on them and I have not hit the edge with naptha yet, though I did polish the edge with an EZ lap as it was on the kitchen counter.

I despise S30V as the edge rolls over immediately with use, so both of these plus another at the MDK shop are all BG42 blades, and my current carries get touched up on the EZ Lap bench stones regularly.

I am trying to convince Mad Dog to finally bake the ST2 on my Sebenza 2K with the swedge on it so I can get a few miles on it as well. When this finish is new, the handle is positively beautiful, and it holds up well thru many years of carry and use.

Parker,
I sorry to stick this into this post, but I have been trying to get in touch with you. I'm looking for some informaton on a Beck Wolverine knife. I read that you have one, can you please tell me the overall shape on this design, overall lenght, blade lenght, and email me a photo if you have one.

Thanks -Ron Medise

Not a great picture, but the best I could get without setting up my $5 light box.
