Show Time

thank you Sir for doing another showtime thread. i enjoy the heck out of these. looking forward to who pops in and what happens at the show.......

Thank you for your efforts in supporting the BUCK brand! I wish that I could get to one of these shows and meet and talk to you in person!

IN the 1st photo those two guys are NMSU scholarship, recruited football players. The big one is an offensive lineman and the other a defensive
linebacker. Each show one team or other at NMSU donates their time to community service. At this one it was the football team. Last one was
the baseball team. Those 2 guys helped us move our displays into the convention center. I commanded my dog to sit near the dolly and them guys were watching, wondering if she would do it. DM

The next photo was taken at home just before we left. I wanted to make sure I had all the needed items loaded because we don't come back if
we forget something. DM

The last photo was taken at the 5pm call. Which is a 30 min. announcement that the back door is about to close and All persons have to get the heck out. When that back loading dock door shuts No one gets in or out. Until 7am the next morning. I was there one morning when they cuffed a guy who was found in the building. Which made a believer out of me to not dally. Put it down and go. This is needed at high profile
shows of this nature. I saw 6 different county Sheriff's, 4 city policeman and numerous security walking the isles today. Making sure nothing
amiss went on today. All the Twin Sets are in there, along with all the 100 series knives, the Akouna, Kalinga, 106 and the Classics. DM

Got another photo coming. Thanks for your support guys. We are having a blast and enjoy putting our best foot forward for the Buck Collectors. It's rare that anyone sees a collectors display of any sort at these shows. DM

Thanks Hawkeye. We are giving it a good try. I sharpen a dozen knives today. Talked to a lot of patrons about Buck knives and handed out all of Joe Houser's cards. All the folks I talked to said they were enjoying the show. DM

This is the other half of our display. That's the 106, 201 Empress Trio, the 700 series along with Buck's sharpening items. The far right display has the 110's, 112's, 500 series and a 317 along with a 307. Some of Leesa's work is on the table at center. Under the folders are some photos, one has me, my youngest in it with Chuck. DM

Thanks David for doing this for the club. Great looking table of display cases full of some great knives.

Hope you guys have a great time at the show and thanks for the pictures.

From the look of your picture of your loaded truck you must not be too worried about rain where you are. That is never the case this time of year in my neck of the woods.

Sounds like I have another local show I may have to attend. Just found out that Blade is doing a Blade Show West here in Portland Oregon in October. Portland is about 20 miles from me.
It was quite a few years since Blade had their last Blade Show West in my area. It should be a great show.

Forecast is for rain in 4 days and last week we had good rains. Plus, our dogs are in crates in the back seat along w/ some groceries, Leesa's art work & jackets. So, only room left is in the bed.
You're welcome ged.
Hope you have a great time at the Western Blade Show.
We have thought about going to the Blade Show in Atlanta but just the gas, eats and motel expense would eat up several years money of displaying closer. So, we opt to spend the money displaying at 9 shows in our state. DM

It looks to be a fine day here and we're excited at the days unfolding. I may have more time today to take some photos and
forward them for posting. So, stay tuned and have a good one. DM
