"Show Topics" Preferences

Spark, there seems to be something screwy going on with preferences. I typically set mine to "show topics from last day." When I noticed that 20 days were being displayed, I went to preferences & reset them to "last day." It worked for a forum or two & then I noticed 20 days were being shown again. I then deleted all cookies set by BF & reset my preferences again to "last day". You guessed it -- it's back to 20.

I started seeing 5 days instead of 20, changed my preferences again & saw only "last day". I cruised around a bit & was just coming here to say thanks for fixing it & guess what -- 5 days again. LOL, at least it's going in the right direction.

Similar problems here. Cleared out cookies (several times), re-established preferences and updated profile, but the system will change from showing "last day" to "last five days" on its own when I go from general forums to the community forums and beyond.

It also stops remembering my info for posting.

I have heard from others having the same problems.
