Well we all know how to carry a pocket knife, but fixed blades is where a lot of people get creative. I think it would be cool to have a picture thread of the different ways people carry their fixed blades, what sheaths they use, positions, how many etc. This isn't only about edc's it can be on camping nights, hunting trips etc.

I usually just loop it through my belt. If I want to hide it I put the bottom part in my pocket so it won't stick out from under my shirt.

I have a small one coming (about 6" OAL) that has a leather sheath with a clip on it for lefty carry. This way, I can clip it inside my right back or front pocket, or inside my right waistband. I suppose I could carry it normally on the left too if I wanted.

I carry my Izula horizontal @ almost 12 O'clock for left handed cross draw.

I carry smaller fixed blades around my neck, mediums on my right hip, and in the rare situation where i have a larger knife, it is either in the car, or in my pack.

I carry alot of my neck knives this way as an option from time to time by modding their sheaths:thumbup:

Nothing fancy. I just clip an Izula 2 in my back pocket. No discomfort in sitting or anything.

I prefer back pocket carry.

That's an Eskabar in the sheath, for perspective, and it holds three cards (ID, debit, and credit). The bulge at the bottom of the sheath area is a little fold of kydex I crammed down there after I had trouble with the tips of blades slicing through welt, glue, and pocket seams. It also conveniently lifted where the knife rides a bit for easier access from deep pockets. Holds just about any practical EDC fixed knife, and cuts down on wasted front pocket space.

I EDC a Bud Nealy Blued O-1 Aikuchi, bought from him at first East Coast Custom Knife show back in the early 80s, I still EDC ir every day.

I wear mine in a right handed sheath, but on my left side (for cross draw). I have long arms and I always felt like I was reaching up to get it off my right side, so cross draw seems easier.

I am having a neck sheath made soon...not sure if I will like that or not...
