Although I do like the smaller folding knives, and they certainly go nicely in the pocket, nothing GEC makes in its smaller size packages compares to the satisfaction I take in a geniune, large, serious working knife like the ones GEC occasionally puts out. Their larger knives lay down a marker for what a traditional knife is capable of, putting them right up there alongside modern tactical folders in terms of form, reliability and function. The knives below, in the hand, give a feeling of total power and confidence to handle any task - I like them a lot!

Nothing stated in my post about that! I would like to see some other big folders. But I think it has to be folders, as if it was fixed blades it could get ridiculous..

My Remington Master Guide trapper is the largest slipjoint I own, at 5.32" closed. Here it is next to a peanut.
