I do this with mine.... (modeled on my brother)

It hangs quite well like this...

Or, you want it a little higher, wind the front of the cord around once...

And a Kydex sheath I made...

I have noticed also you keep the belt loop on the outside.

Yeah, it seems to work pretty good.

I like the belt-loop on the outside, so that the sheath rides flat against my body. Just seems to work well.

This is a clever way to carry it, even in the winter time under the first layer of clothes !

(No way this is a beautiful knife with a great design made by passionnated people.
The steel is top notch (notched on mine as it is a Factory 2nd)
I love everything in it !!! I even love its crack ! Is this true love or not?)

Thank you. Not especially innovative, but I adapted this sheath to the standard method.
