Show us the knife or knives you've received for Christmas, either as a gift from somebody or a gift to yourself :)

Mine is the Spyderco Domino.

I am a financially responsible family man, not a cheap one, but a fiscally responsible one, so I spread out my knife budget on knives that were on dramatic price reductions (65% or more); this is one of them for the princely sum of $24.95...

Where did you get the dragonfly for that price?

I just had my S110V Native 5 and Tatanka fit with Thunderstrike Kevlar scales and ti low carry clips. Just got them this weekend thanks to Sketchen Scales Customs here on the forum.
Great Christmas gift to myself. :)

i'm a little bit skeptical. I've heard of dragonfly fakes.

in case you haven't seen it, here is the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slYrdYrkc1Y

i hope your deal was legit because at that price, dragonfly salt cannot be beat!

I buy only from legitimate sources that are authorized dealers. I hardly think Blade HQ or the Navy Exchange deals in fakes. The DF Salt was on sale two weeks ago at Blade HQ for that price, and I had no qualms ordering several for gifts; and yes, nobody could beat that price 'cause it's called a "loss leader". The only time I have suspicions, and do not buy, are in private sales, eBay, and anything from Amazon that is not sold and shipped by them, and sold by some outfit I never heard of, or cannot find a physical address and telephone for. An example are the five Victorinox alox Pioneers in black with red shields I bought, which are not found in the USA. Amazon had them for $27.95 shipping included; but, they were sold by a German dealer. So I researched the web, found the dealer, who happened to be a large reputable knife dealer, and made a call and spoke with the proprietor of the dealership. He said he had the knives in stock, and that indeed these were the knives as described and are selling for the price Amazon had advertised. I went ahead and bought a total of 5, and all arrived on my door step in less than 7 days from Germany....and they are legit, as is anything I buy from Blade HQ or the Navy Exchange.

Merry Christmas to me
Wow, beautiful knives, congrats! I got my SnG back home the same day I received a small Insingo micarta (gift to myself). Felt like two knives for Christmas. Some fine pieces you've picked up there!

Yep, there are lots of great deals to be found out there if you're a vigilant shopper and aren't afraid to do a little homework and research.

I got a couple of e-mails from Blade HQ about those Salts over the past week, and would've jumped on one of them too, but I got there a little too late for the one I liked... I'm not too upset; I already have a SpyderHawk Salt.

There have been some unbelievable deals the last 2 weeks; I picked up a KA-BAR in closeout for 71% off at a major online retailer through an e-mail I received.

Thanks to Barman1 and Cchu518 I got these...... Tramotina 2 handed sugar cane machete and my very first Millie!!
