Still a work in progress. Its my first one. A vine wrapped around it and created a natural twist in the wood. Unfortunately there's a little bit of rotting towards the top. I'm hoping to get around that or remove it somehow. Lets see your staff

^^ That looks awesome. I just got a tulip poplar sapling from a small wooded area that's going to be cleared up by my apartment. I stripped the bark off and now I sit and wait for it to dry.
 
I made myslf & my boys one about 2yrs ago....enjoy the pics :D -

And what's the smallest one in the photo above? Another prototype? I like the look of it.

The small one is the Mini Grasso Bolo, also a Prototype.

Nothing too fancy....a 54" long 1 1/8" diameter chunk of hickory (a Jo staff by the way). Sturdy, easily handled, not too long.
