OK, Kizer...at what point do I admit I might have a problem?

Yep. You've got it bad, brother. All I have so far is a Ki3404A3, a Tomcat Splinter and a Laconico Gemini. All three of them are winners in my book. But the Gemini stands head and shoulders above the rest . . . simply a spectacular knife.

nice family pic, it's helpful to be able to compare the models in a lineup thanks!

It sure is! The only thing that would be better is to put labels underneath each knife with its corresponding model number. But that would take a lot of work . . .

Here are my 5 Kizer folders. The older 3404 series (the two at the top) use proprietary pivot screw, no steel lock bar insert and washers. Kizer has been stepping up features and quality. The middle one is the Splinter which has torx pivot and ceramic ball bearings. The last two are Ray Laconico designs and in a class by themselves: Gemini and Intrepid. They have steel lock bar insert and even higher quality. Gemini is about as good as you can get in a small EDC flipper for $170!

  2. 3404A3
  3. Splinter
  4. Gemini
  5. Intrepid

I updated my original post to include model numbers

A great collection! I hope that our 2016 line up will help grow your Kizer team even bigger!

Kizer.

I have not pulled the trigger on any Kizers yet but been looking closely as a couple the intrepid is on my short list. The pics are great thanks for sharing.

My latest Kizer. I'm testing and evaluating it right now for a coming review. I'm planning on translating that review to English and post it here on BF as well. :)
