G'day, they dont show up very often these days and when they do they generally are the Federal Duck Stamp 96/97 10th Commemorative version, or the Ducks Unlimited Birdhook Trapper style.
This one is the circa 2000, OTC94 Old Timer Classics Bird Hook Trapper. They were produced in a two piece Limited Edition collector tin, or in a 4 piece collectors set OTC4MS Limited Edition, offering 500 sets.
The others were the OTC72 Peanut,OTC96 Trapper, and OTC80 Stockman.
Amber jigged bone handles, polished and threaded bolsters, polished and hollow ground etched blade 'Trade Mark Everlastingly Sharp' plus a 'nostalgic decorative handle shield'.
We use these out here in Oz to trip up the Emus with the hook and then gut them with the trapper blade.....and then cook them with a brick over a very hot Camp fire...when the bricks soft we throw away the Emu and then eat the brick.....
Show us any of the birdhook versions out there of these unique design knives....Hoo Roo
