Some of my favorite knives are the special factory orders that are commissioned to be built by the various slipjoint makers. I did a quick search and didn't see any thread dedicated to all traditional SFOs all the time. I did find a SFO Saturday thread and a Charlie's SFO thread but I think we have room for a thread dedicated to all SFOs everyday.

So lets see some SFOs!
Here is a selection of examples of SFOs that I have been fortunate enough to gather over the years. (I should have taken a blades open picture too :o when weather improves here i'll see about doing that)

That is one beautiful collection of SFO knives there Curtis and you seem to have a knack for getting the best examples of the lots.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

This Copperlock is a SFO for Smokey Mountain several years ago. Should have bought the whole line.

Thanks Primble, I have gotten lucky with the ones that have been sent to me, but most of these are done so well its hard to find a bad one :)

Very nice collection  What's the knife top-left, looks like a Wharncliffe Trapper?
Thanks Jack, you are correct the knife top-left is a Wharncliffe Trapper built on the GEC #48 frame. Mike at collectorknives commissioned it. Its got satin finished blades and a different shield in comparison to the regular Northfield version.

What he said!

Here are a couple of my favorites.......

Couple of my favorites too, sad I missed out on those. Really like the Osage. I keep hoping one will pop up on the exchange or something.

Thought I would add a few. Sorry, I was to relaxed to take new pics.

Yes, I like the Osage a lot too. So much that I've blocked from my memory how much I overpaid for it.:o

These are all SFOs done for the traditional forum here at BFC. I had just posted them in another thread but I'm more than willing to share again.

Here they are guys, all lined up nice with their respective packaging.

Starting left to right...

2006 Canal Street Cutlery Ring Opener Pen; 2007 Canal Street Cutlery Canittler; 2008 Northwoods Medium Stockman; 2009 Queen/Schatt Morgan Barlow; 2010 Queen Moose; 2011 GEC EO Jack; 2012 GEC Wharncliffe Trapper; 2013 GEC Congress Jack; 2014 GEC Stag Jack. All get pocket time. :)

^^^Great knives, nice to see all the forum knives together. I have always been very curious about the 2006 ring opener, how does that work?

Jeff, that painted pony is really pretty, what do they call that handle?
