When I finally bought a PM2 I donated my old Tenacious to my older son. I hadn't used it at all so it was like new. I told him to just use it and don't baby it. He works for a contractor who maintains several apartment complexes. He does everything from plumbing and heating to drywall and cutting out soaked carpets. He's had it a few months now and keeps mentioning what a great knife it is. I asked him to bring it with him to a family get together yesterday so I can sharpen it. I hardly use any of my knives at all and it was really cool seeing one that is used but not abused (too much).

The thing gets more attractive the more it's used!

I have this franken-Manix 2 that I bought used and it is my weekend work knife. After reading about cardboard testing I ran a test between the old Manix 2 and its M4 blade and my new S110V Manix 2. I had carried the new Manix 2 but only cut paper and so forth. I had sharpened the M4 blade and the S110V had its factory edge. I cut enough cardboard to dull both of them.

I use all of mine, some a lot more than others. I do have two main users though.

My Military has been my work carry for 6 months. My Para2 has been my usual weekend carry for the same 6 months.

Just really started using it at work the other week so it doesn't show much wear yet.

From only starting to buy higher end knives last year I've finally gotten to the point where I'm not really worried about using my favorites harder now . I wouldn't want to beat up on a $250 knife unless I absolutely had to, but as for $150ish and lower I feel like hey why not, they're made to be used.
