Do you look to buy or make fresh brand label stickers when refurbishing an axe, whether restoring, returning to original appearance, or otherwise freshening up an old axe? I love to put on new label stickers, even repop’s or copies. Here are a couple examples on axes I’ve cleaned up, along with an example of a reverse side / pile side sticker added for fun.

Wow those are awesome, Bob. If I ever acquire some of these stickers (I do look for them regularly), I'd buy the corresponding axe just to put them back into service!

Period sticker, non-manufacturer related, on this Estwing. Clarification: since the hatchet had an old Datsun sticker, it only felt right to find a new one to put back on after refurbing. Must have been kept in someone's B210!
