show your beat to hell hinderers!

I was a bit reluctant to post. I would not consider mine "beat to hell", not even close.

Rubi is right, they show minimal wear with use. My Gen 4 3.5 Spanto flipper EDC still looks very new. The S35VN 24 shows some marks, but I am almost embarrassed to even suggest it looks like something that meets your photo request.

Ok, let's get to it. A few small pics of the 3.5 and 24. Some of theses pics are already posted in other threads, a couple most have not seen. All pics are of my current EDCs. The 24 I have had longer than any of my Hinderers. Picked it up at blade 2011, so both of these have had well under a year of "use".

Yea i couldv'e worder the title a little better to "heavy users", i doubt any are beat to hell!!!

im looking forward to a new custom stanto grind gen 4 should be here in a few days, like to see how they age' with use
 
Several people on this forum have heavily used XMs. Maybe they will repost here. If not, just keep clicking thru older threads. Something that interests you may emerge.

Congrats on the upcoming custom. Be sure to play show-n-tell when it arrives.

They are tougher than nails. 6 months in my pocket and on the job, just some scratches. BTW, when you let another guy handle your knife he is going to beat it's a@@. I'll never do that again!
 
Mine has light marks on the ti but the blade has a decent amount of scratches but they're only visible at certain angles and even then, they are hardly noticeable....the stonewashed finish is like magic :D To me, you really enjoy a knife much more when you put it to good use.

Appears XMs wear a bit better after all. Statement not meant to be crass. Tone is factual, no hidden message.
 
I'd like to see a sand or bead blasted user XM. I really like that sand blasted finish on the blade and titanium but I doubt it wears anywhere near as well as the stonewash.
 
Seems to me the bead-blasted Ti should wear in just like a Sebenza. I just got a bead-blasted XM-18 yesterday. Ask again in about a year? :D
