I have very much been enjoying these royal red or blue, burgundy, purple/"blurple", colors lately. They can look fancy, trippy, royal... looks good in various materials - Terotuf to micarta (way underrepresended, both in red are beautiful!), ti to alum, wood and bone, nylon based knives, being an easy way to give them more style, and easy to dye (unlike G10, needing the synthetic Dyemore). I dyed the Buck 110 LW, Matriarch 2 and the AD20.5, and was next thinking of how to style the Lil Matriarch color, as well as a jade G10 Dodo and an Espada L.

Victorinox's simple but beautiful royal red/burgundy looking nylon takes on an amazing color of its own compared to red Cellidor imo, especially with the gold pins - beautiful, and durable. The 91mms are Terotuf (also on the David Mary, the way he does burgundy is great) and micarta. I know I'm missing a few things though.

Show me your burgundy beauties, your deep purple (🤘) scales, your royal reds & blues!

Started as white, dyed royal purple. Also, the black mother of pearl covers on the small congress have plenty of purple in them.

Was knowing you would have something good, even the patina is colorful! (do you get that through meat?)
I have the same Native, I think, but it is still a Stormtrooper.

Thanks! The patina on the Rex45 was from mustard thinned with apple cider vinegar, applied with a toothpick and left to drip down a bit and sit for about a half hour. Then rinse it off and repeat with another layer randomly, about 5 times or so. It's the overlapping from various applications that give the interesting colors when the light hits it right.

Sweet! That contrasting black/burgundy is a thing of beauty.
Thanks! I won it in a giveaway on another forum!
The original owner rit dyed the micarta scales to get that color.

I also have a buck 212 that was an SK knives exclusive with a burgundy/maroon handle but it show up too dark in pictures or i’d post it. In person you can see the reds.

Gives me ideas, I was under the impression you couldn't well dye finished micarta, but this is a great revelation.

Ah, same with the maroon SAK I posted above, looks tan in the pic.
