It's debatable when the Chtistmas time begins. Some will say on the first Advent Sunday, others will say December 1st, the shops will 3 months before Christmas and I'm sure there are people for whom Christmas is yearround. Personally, I start feeling Christmas is aproaching on December 5th, the day of the Krampus, a tradition I grew up with. December 6th is St Nicolaus Day when good kids get a small present or two, but naughty ones beware the night of the 5th, when Krampus is lurking in the dark! He'll put you in chains and drag you in the cold winter night. Or just give you a rod, asuming his bag might be already full ...

Anyway, I'm sure our good people on the porch haven't been all too naughty this year and are already looking forward to Christmas. I've noticed quite a few of you have traditional knives in Chrtstmasy colours, whatever those be. I invite you to show us some pictures of your knives with colours special for the aproaching holiday to get a nice mood started. :)

Oh, Mr Krampus asked me to give you his greetings ;)

I don't have a knife that is both green and red, but here's a photo of two #71's that I took around Christmastime last year.

The unexpected gold sparkle in the new acrylic Beer Scouts makes this knife feel a bit festive, too. Maybe I should hang it on the tree. :D

For me the Christmas season has always begun the Sunday after Thanksgiving. My Christmas knife was not issued as a "Christmas Knife" but I have used it for several years to assist in the opening of gifts. This Case 62109X rides in my pocket on Christmas. OH

Six years ago I received this knife as a gift from a thoughtful member here on BFC, and it has been my Christmas present opening knife ever since.

This is obviously a Christmas knife from Rough Rider.

I may post again with other knives that, while not explicitly Christmasy to the eye, have Christmas connotations/connections for me.
