I've got it in my head to finally make a set of knives for myself and gift out the mishmash of 7 chef blades and such that are on my counter.
I am thinking a 8 inch kiritsuki, a mid size honosuki and a paring knife in the 33 layer suminigoshi steel.
(My spelling might be wrong on all of the above sorry!)
I have 4 pieces of the suminigoshi steel and am looking for handle inspiration.
I thought the twisted Wa style of the below was pretty striking although I'm not sure I would be confident in my ability to do it (although I have ideas how).
Anyhoo. Post any handle that speaks to you!
