Very Sweet!

I have a large standard plain and a small to match. No competition to your super models but I am in love with them as super users.

I really like your damascus. That has to be my favorite pattern. What is the gold medallion inset in the handle?

BoyNhisDog:

The large Sebenza is a "Gold Coin" Sebenza. This particular one came out in 2000 and that's a 1/10 oz. gold Kuggerand mounted in the handle.

Chris used to make a total of 12 "Gold Coin" knives a year, but in 2000 he upped the total to 20 per year. This particular knife is 8/20.

For 2001 the coin used was the "Chinese Panda". In 1999 I believe it was the "Canadian Maple leaf".

Can't post a picture, but I can sure tell you about my favorites. I only have two at present but I enjoy both equally. My favorite is the large ironwood inlay with BG42 blade that I picked up from Chris at this years Blade Show. It is a 2001 model. The other is the one I posted about recently. It is a large standard with polished blade and gold accents instead of the usual blue. Also a favorite due to its born on date of 9-11-2001. Definately a knife to remember!

Cool thread Sniper :D
I only have 4 Chris Reeve knives at this time but I will be getting more very soon :D I have an Mnandi on order and hopefully will be getting another large Sebbie soon and maybe a small one. In my collection I have an older Aviator, large unique Sebbie, large plain Sebbie, and a plain Umfaan that I carry in a WH sheath. I don't have a picture of my Aviator, but heres the rest

I wish I had all the other CRKs that I use to have. I have owned an early numbered large Sebbie and a SA fixed blade. I love these knives :D

5. 1 small regular ( the one I use for almost anything)

Can't really pick a favorite. The top two are beautiful to look at, the next two are too, heck #5 is too. Their all Sebenza's-- 'nuff' said............:D :) :) ;)

Good thread and have a good day,

Whoa...RDomina, tell me more about that one. I am pretty new to Sebenzas. Just got a small reg. a few weeks ago and have a Zig-zag Umfaan. Is it a CRK Custom or did someone else do it. What is the inlay. Give me some info. That is nice looking.

It's a large with ats34 blade and mokume inlays (the CR logo is also mokume). No inlays on opp. side. From April of 96.
I've been told by Anne that it's a production prototype.Possibly the only one.Their not sure if they made another.

I really like the looks of the Sebbie. I wish they would do more like that. It would look great with a wood inlay like they use now, but in that shape. Possible one of a kind... that's amazing.

Can you tell how you came across it? Are you the original owner? Again...great looking piece.

Here is my current fav owned CRK.

Devin Thomas Double High Carbon Spiral Damascus on a Dark Walnut Small Sebi! Love it! Perfect knife for my EDC! She opens letters like nothing else!

I also own number 6-50 of the MM Large Classic Sebi.

My small is called 'Alliance' and my large is called 'Gwaith'

Love them both.:)

My favorite is the one I own... a large plain sebbie. Nothing fancy, but I do love her. Uh, I mean it. I love it. God help me if my girlfriend sees this. ;)

Someday soon, something more. (I'm thinking a small, damascus, dual thumblug, wood inlay...

Older model ATS-34 with older sheath. This one also has a pocket clip on it. This knife is like new and I got it from another forumite in the mail today. I love it. I may have to carry it.

On its way to me now are a Pheasant Tail Sebbie and a rare Morse code Sebbie. Can't wait to get those :D I will post pics when they come in. Off to look for a large Classic :)
